Annual Open House And Christmas Bash
Albany Humane Society – Our annual Open House is getting an upgrade! This year's event features a cornhole tournament, $1 draft beer, live music and BBQ smoked on site. We will also have some activities for children and of course plenty of shelter pets that need your love and support. Tournament registration begins at 1pm at $20/ player blind draw, bags fly at 2pm. Prizes for 1st thru 3rd places. Admission is open to all and we encourage donations for the animals. Come out and have some fun with us!

Peppermint Pops Matinee and Instrument Petting Zoo
Albany Symphony Orchestra – Join us for a special matinee concert geared towards your little one with the short attention span! On Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11am we will present a condensed 45 minute version of our evening Peppermint Pops Concert. This is a perfect way to introduce your budding little musician to the “live” musical experience, with a pre-concert Instrumental Petting Zoo beginning at 10am, a sing-a-long, and a scored film…this family friendly event is one not to be missed! We are proud to partner with Second Harvest of South Georgia in order to provide hunger relief to those in our community and surrounding areas. We will be collecting canned goods for our Peppermint Pops Matinee. A reduced admission cost from $15 to $10 will be honored with a donation of a canned good. Play your part!
