Coastal Coffee Roasters – Tuesday Morning Yoga Love is a hatha flow class which is a blend of various styles of Yoga. Flow from posture to posture, rhythmically linking breath with each posture, pausing at times to re-connect and center. Balance and stretch while standing, kneeling, sitting, and lying. Beginners are welcome as are those who have practiced yoga before; all students are encouraged to move at their own comfortable pace. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Cost for the class is $10

We are proud to celebrate the 6th class of honorees in 2017. Honorees have the privledge of becoming an ambassador for the CF Foundation. They spend the summer learning about cystic fibrosis, meeting those affected, and fundraising for the CF Foundation. All of their efforts are being celebrated September 14 at the finale in front of their friends and colleagues as we announce our Young Professional of the Year!

Club Judge Seminar
The Charleston Yacht Club – This is a three-evening seminar to be held on September 26th, 27th and 28th from 1800 - 2100 at the Charleston Yacht Club. To qualify for CJ certification or recertification, one must attend all three evenings. $30 seminar fee includes course pack and online testing. Online registration closes on Wednesday, September 20th @ 2355 (Eastern). Walk-ins are not available for this seminar. Food will be available for purchase each evening. Visiting Artist Stacey Kirby
the Gibbes museum – Visiting Artist Stacey Kirby will be in Studio 1 from September 27-October 7. Studios are free to the public during Museum hours and specific studio hours will be posted soon. Kirby is an interdisciplinary artist from North Carolina, a daughter of a court reporter and a believer in freedom through creative embodiment. Kirby’s ‘performative interactions' combine installation and performance in alternative, private and public spaces. Fueled by the current political climate and issues of citizenship, Kirby invites visitors to become active participants in her work to empower the voice within all of us. These performative interactions foster conversation about community, civil rights, and belonging in the United States. Kirby uses humor to reinvent the bureaucratic process in order to empower people to share their voice. At the Gibbes, she will perform I AM, which explores gender identity and discrimination.
