20th Annual Tom Keeler Memorial Golf Tournament
Gulf Coast Humane Society – Join us for a round of golf on the beautiful Corpus Christi Country Club Golf Course on March 23rd, 2018 for a GREAT cause! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or entering a team, you can give us a call at (361)225-0845 and ask for Priscilla, or email Priscilla at firstname.lastname@example.org! The Golf Tournament is our biggest event by far and is one of our biggest sources of income. The Corpus Christi Country Club golf course is all ours for the tournament; giving participating teams the opportunity to tee off on its gorgeous green. There is also a delicious brunch, refreshing beverages, a silent auction, and a chance to win an amazing hole-in-one prize (to be announced)! There are many opportunities for you or your business to participate! For 50 years, The Gulf Coast Humane Society operated out of what is now the PALS Animal Shelter. That all changed in April of 1998 when Tom and Cora Keeler very generously donated the state of the art facility that we operate from now. This building is double the size of our old home, which allows us to help more animals and offer expanded education and services to the public. As a no-kill, non-profit organization, we depend solely on donations to care for the hundreds of orphaned animals under our roof. Thus, without the kindness of the Keelers, the acquisition of this beautiful building would never have been possible. The Annual Golf Tournament is our way of expressing our gratitude to the Keelers as well as bringing in more funds to care for the orphaned animals of GCHS.
