Art Center of Corpus Christi – Knitting 101: Scarf 2 Sessions January 17 & 24 Time: 5:00pm - 7pm Member: $35.00 Non-Member: $40.00 Learn the basics of knitting while you make a scarf. The first class will cover the cast on method, how to knit and purl to create a flat knit stitch and garter stitch. During the second class we will continue working on those two stitches to create patterns. Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers – 13 suspects, seven weapons, and five rooms. YOU solve the mystery! The pleasure of your presence has been requested on the evening of Wednesday, September 20, 2017. There's been a murder and it's up to you to help Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers solve it. Interrogate the suspects and see if your tips lead to the arrest of the true criminal. Reserve your table for your group to tour the five rooms, one of which is the crime scene and interrogate our local judges to decide which one is guilty. FUNdraiser Workout Benefiting the United Way of the Coastal Bend
Pinnacle Performance and Fitness – Start 2018 off with a WIN-WIN! Contribute to a great organization and contribute to your own health and fitness by joining Pinnacle Performance and Fitness clients and Team January 20th from 8am to 9am for a FUN-draiser Workout. Pinnacle will be raising money and awareness for the United Way of the Coastal Bend. Pinnacle is located 3636 S. Alameda Suite L in Taylor Center. The United Way of the Coast Bend goes beyond temporary fixes to create lasting change that lifts up entire communities around the world. We focus on education, income and health, because these are the building blocks for a good quality of life. The minimum donation to participate in the 1-hour Workout for a Cause is $10. Participants are more than welcome to donate more. As ALWAYS 100% money raised will go to the United Way of the Coastal Bend. This event is open to the public. All fitness levels are welcome.
