Let's Grow Community Garden: Volunteer Event
UpDayton – Join UpDayton as we help plant the "Let's Grow!" community garden at the Dayton Boys and Girls Club. We will need help planting seedlings in raised beds which will be cared for by youth at the Boys and Girls Club, as well as residents of the DeSoto Bass community. Tools will be provided. Please wear work clothes and appropriate shoes. We will have pizza and drinks for volunteers.

21st Annual Gene Westendorf Memorial Golf Tournament
St. Vincent de Paul - Dayton District Council – Swing into hope and golf in memory of an avid supporter of St. Vincent de Paul’s mission, Gene Westendorf. All proceeds of this four-man scramble tournament directly support the work of St. Vincent de Paul among those struggling with poverty and homelessness in our community. One lucky golfer can win $5,000 with a hole-in-one on the seventh hole. Also, the low foursome will win $500 to support the St. Vincent de Paul Conference of their choice. St Vincent’s 36 Conferences provide person-to-person assistance to impoverished members of their communities. Golfers and sponsors can participate at this memorial event at various levels, starting at $20. Green fees are $90 for adult golfers and $80 for juniors.
