The course features instruction from local forestry professionals, and provides ongoing volunteer service opportunities for community members who are passionate about tree care and education. Drill Team Prep Workshop
Denton Dance Conservatory, LLC in Denton, Texas – In this 6 Week Workshop, participants will be focusing on jazz technique, increasing flexibility, strength, kick endurance, and choreography retention, as well as stamina building and stage presence. Dancers need to wear a black leotard, dance shorts/leggings/pants, jazz shoes (ask your high school dance team director what color they prefer), and tennis shoes. Hair should be held away from face. INSTRUCTOR: Katie Jensen is currently a Dance Education major at University of North Texas and teaches at Denton Dance Conservatory. Katie is a former 11 year Denton Dance Conservatory student. She served as a lieutenant and then Captain on the Guyer High School Silverados dance team. She then went to Tyler Junior College and was a Tyler Apache Bell for two years.
