Got an awesome ride? We want to see it! Classes are determined based on the field of entries that we receive. First, Second and Third place trophies are awarded in each class, along with the bragging rights that comes with placing at the Ray Price Motorsports Expo Bikeshow. Enter your motorcycle in the Bikeshow and receive a FREE Single VIB Pass! The Ray Price Motorsports Expo Bike Show is an International Master Bike Builders Association (IMBBA) Sanctioned Event. Independent judging is performed by IMBBA approved judges. All IMBBA judges strictly adhere to a straight-forward set of published guidelines used to award points, and all IMBBA judges go through a training apprenticeship, judging bikes alongside founding president and chief judge, Jeff Starke. The judges use trade standards to award points that define the bike’s “Fit, Form, Function & Safety.” An apprentice judge does not become certified to judge IMBBA bike shows until his point scores match the other judges within one point in every category. To further reduce the margin, every bike is independently scored by three judges and the final points are a summation of their point evaluations. Using the point system published in the judge’s training manual, builders can go over their bikes with the judges to clearly see what points were awarded for physical attributes, as well as the sum of skills needed to assemble, fabricate and engineer each motorcycle.

Thomas Graham Artist Reception
Visit Hillsborough, NC – Local artist Thomas Graham will welcome visitors to his solo show at the Alexander Dickson House in Hillsborough with an afternoon reception on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Everyone is invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments with the artist from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. “Carefully Cut: Tin Can Collage by Thomas Graham,” presented by the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough and Mike’s Art Truck, is a 40-piece selection of Graham’s unique collage works. Starting with containers that once held cookies, spices or other goodies, Graham cuts the tin into tiny pieces, and then reassembles the shapes and colors into works of art. Retired from a completely different career, Thomas Graham never expected to become an artist. He is delighted to have his work shown and appreciated. “Carefully Cut: Tin Can Collage by Thomas Graham” continues through November 2, 2017. The Alexander Dickson House is the historic building that houses the Hillsborough Visitors Center, located at 150 E. King Street, in downtown Hillsborough.
