LASER -TEC – Coding with Arduino 2: Explore: Expand on your knowledge of computer coding using the Arduino microcontroller! St. Anastasia Catholic School – Hey Moms, Grandmas and Guardians - Join the PTO for the Get Your Glow On Mother-Son Neon Party on Friday, Jan. 19th from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. Tickets are only $5 each ($20/family) and includes a DJ, dancing, photo booth, games and snacks. Ages kindergarten through 8th grade. We are looking for a photo booth sponsor. Frogman Foundry | Dog Days of the Museum
The National Navy UDT SEAL Museum – Meet the dogs of the Museum: Hera, Finn, and Raven. Experience a canine demonstration to better understand the amazing capabilities of Military Working Dogs and learn more about the integral role SEAL dogs command in the Teams. Stop by the Museum during Foundry hours and watch these unique canines take on the O-Course. Encouraging character, discipline, and leadership, the Frogman Foundry is an opportunity for young people to learn more about the history of our country and the role Navy SEALs and their predecessors have played. Recommended for kids ages 10 to 15, the Frogman Foundry is included with paid admission to the Museum. Free for members.

Autism Safety Fest
Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at Florida Atlantic University – Autism Learning Events 10 a.m. Preventing an Autism Emergency Families will learn the how to prevent the most-likely emergencies that can happen to individuals on the autism spectrum and prepare for how to deal with emergencies when they do come up. Wandering/eloping, identification methods, emergency documentation and more will be covered in the training. 11:15 a.m. Safety Tools for Young Children (6 and under) with ASD. The presentation will be an overview of how to use the items in FAU CARD’s Safety Box. Participants will receive a Safety Box ($40 value) to take home. 12 p.m. Showing of the 'Be Safe' movie. BE SAFE The Movie is an instructional DVD that teaches teens and adults how to interact safely with the police.
