Okeechobee Food Truck Invasion
Food Truck Invasion – Of course, we're coming back. Once again we'll be heading to Okechobee with a Food Truck Invasion. Every last Tuesday of each month. Upcoming dates: July 25th Come show your support tonight and we can bring more trucks next month! More details will follow but if this is your first time to a Food Truck Invasion here is what you need to know: This is a huge outdoor picnic where food trucks of different origins and cuisine prepare food that is cooked to order. It’s not fast food, as the majority of the trucks are run by regional chefs. A great deal of fusion cuisine, comfort foods and sweet treats to choose from will be available by a selection of about 20 food trucks. Be sure to bring your folding chairs or blankets to picnic in the immediate area. *list subject to change without notice

Ataxia Support Group FUNraising Event
Tail-Gators Brews & Grill – What is Ataxia? Ataxia is a rare neurological disease. It is progressive – affecting a person’s ability to walk, talk, and use fine motor skills. Ataxia is a degenerative disease of the nervous system. Many symptoms of Ataxia can mimic those of being drunk – slurred speech, stumbling, falling, and incoordination. All are related to degeneration of the part of the brain, called the cerebellum, that is responsible for coordinating movement. Ataxia is a disease that affects people of all ages. Age of symptom-onset can vary widely, from childhood to late-adulthood. Complications from the disease are serious, oftentimes debilitating, and can be life-shortening. Lets raise awareness & money for a worthy cause. 10% of the events proceeds will be donated to the National Ataxia Foundation. Raffles will also be available 100% of these proceeds will be donated.

Frogman Foundry: BUD/S and Beyond
The National Navy UDT SEAL Museum – So, you think you have what it takes to be a SEAL? Find out what separates the polliwogs from the Frogmen and learn more about the grueling BUD/S training that all SEALs must endure to earn their Trident. Learn more about the ideology of the BUD/S program (including Hell Week), how it is implemented for the benefit of Naval Special Warfare, and how this training and mindset can be applied to civilian life for better living. Join us October 14th between 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a fun and informative talk, then enjoy as our U.S. Navy SEAL runs kids through our Ops Course to complete their mission. *Please have participants wear appropriate clothing for running and climbing and closed-toed shoes. Geared for kids ages ten to fifteen, the Frogman Foundry was created to encourage character and leadership among young people and is hosted by a decorated Navy SEAL. Sig Sauer Academy Pistol Instructor Development Course
Elite Firearms Training Inc. – Prerequisite This course is designed for the current or prospective agency firearms instructor. You must have documentation of successful completion of an entry level pistol skills program from a law enforcement agency or training facility. NOTE: Some classes are restricted to Armed Professionals only. Please see the schedule for details. Course Outline We hold our instructors to the absolute highest standard and we teach to the absolute highest standard. The SIG SAUER Academy wants to ensure all attendees have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet course standards. However, we understand each shooter is different and each shooter learns at a different level. Therefore, qualification standards allow students to quickly assess their abilities in a controlled environment in order to prepare them for the next level of training. We talk the talk and walk the walk. All SIG SAUER Academy instructors are required to pass a semiannual master level qualification course in order to maintain instructor status. Successful course credit requires a passing score on a shooting qualification test to be administered by the instructor before course conclusion. This shooting qualification is specifically developed to test the skills, safety, and techniques taught in this course. The qualification and standard will not be posted or made available. Students who do not pass this qualification will receive a certificate of attendance for the course.
