Flute and Drum Circle
Yogaterrium – Monthly Flute & Drum Circle at Yogaterrium. The drum and flute circle started back in 2009 from a few of the local and area enthusiasts. We meet the LAST Saturday of each month where we play the Native American Flute. We also have a session of group drumming with all kinds of drums and percussion instruments. You do not have to be a trained flute player or drummer to participate. Come with an open mind and a willingness to try something new, extra instruments are often available. *** Only a few chairs are available, for those who need to sit down in chairs please plan to bring your own to be sure you have one available. Circle starts at 1:00 PM Come out and give the circle a listen or a try. We look forward to seeing you at Yogaterrium 2712 Grand Ave. ***Donations are requested for the use of the space.

Arkansas Tech University Small Business and Technology Development Center – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center presents “Lunch and Learn: SBA Loans Helping Small Business” from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on November 28 at the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce. SBA offers a variety of loan programs for small businesses through its network of commercial lenders and intermediary lenders. General small business loans, microloans, real estate and equipment loans, and disaster loans are just some of the ways SBA assists small businesses obtain the capital they need. Join us as Herb Lawrence of the Small Business Administration shares information about the different options available and how to tap into this source of funding. An Evening in the Past
U.S. Marshals Museum – The United States Marshals Museum will host its third annual holiday event An Evening in the Past on Monday, December 11th at the Bonneville House in the Belle Grove Historic District in Fort Smith. This year, An Evening in the Past will feature both the younger and older Thomas Jeffersons from Colonial Williamsburg. An Evening in the Past will take place from 6:30-9:00 p.m. During the event, both Jeffersons will visit with guests about how the third president of the United States' views evolved over his career. Guests may also enjoy an 18th century French inspired menu, entertainment, food, and cocktails. Tickets may be purchased for $75.
