Pinwheel Planting at KY State Capitol
Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (PCAK) – Please join Governor Matt Bevin & First Lady Glenna Bevin as they plant pinwheels with Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (PCAK) to spread awareness on child abuse prevention. Christopher Woodin is a specialist in the fields of mathematics and learning differences and Ammerman Chair of Mathematics at Landmark School in MA. In addition to authoring two books and multiple journal articles, Mr. Woodin has presented at numerous international LDA and International Dyslexia Association (IDA) conferences and led math workshops to audiences across the country.

Scott County Humane Society - "For Pets' Sake" – Support the Humane Society on March 24th at Bless Your h'Art! Pottery. 20% of all sales from animal figurines and pet-related items will be donated to the Humane Society. There will be several hand-painted treat jars and pet dishes raffled off. These pieces have been sponsored by local businesses. Pictures of all the items available will be posted soon. Get free raffle tickets with purchase of animal related pottery. Purchase add'l raffle tickets for $1. Use your tickets to "vote" for your favorite dish (a.k.a. the one you would love to have for your own fur-baby). The business that sponsored the item with the most votes wins all kinds of high-fives and hoorays. At 6pm, drawings will be held for each dish from the tickets submitted.
