Nov 19 Prediction Run 5K (@Josey Ranch)
Carrollton Runners Club – It's our Prediction 5K this Sunday before Thanksgiving. Weather is looking nice as well. We hope to see you there! It's a 5K run with a twist. Before the event at the race site, each participant declares their predicted 5K time and having their bib scanned. During the run, no one is allowed to wear a timing device, except your chip-enabled bib. As soon as you finish, you can see your finish time and how close your prediction is. The most accurate (usu top 3) get prizes. It's $2 per person if pre-registered. REGISTRATION: (Use ticketing link below to register/pre-register) If you have a personalized yellow bib, that is still good and you can prepay for 2017 - our low cost fees remain. If you have registered in the past and ran with us in the last 12 months, your name will still be on our system. If you have never run with us, pre-register below - you can pay on race day in person. Walk-ins are welcome but it will cost you +$1. AWARDS: Top 3 predictions wins a prize. One is Not Enough? If conditions allow, runners can do double or triple laps (5K each) but only the first prediction will be used for that morning's prediction awards. For the annual Prediction contest, only the best prediction will count. For the annual Mileage, all the laps/distances will count. Declare intention to do multi-laps during bib scan. Runners can go continously or take a break between laps. No extra charge for doing extra laps.

BMBC 104th Church Anniversary Celebration - Unity In Christ
Bethany Missionary Baptist Church - Dallas, TX – (Celebrating Our Past, Anticipating Our Future) We would like to extend to you a special invitation to join us, this mark the 104th Anniversary of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. Celebrating Our Past, Anticipating Our Future.” We believe this is the right time for us as a church not only to look backward, but also to turn our attention forward to the days ahead and focus on renewing ourselves. We do not want this occasion to be merely a celebration of the past. We realize that this is a prime opportunity to look ahead. These concepts are more than just opposite ends of a chronological spectrum. We believe they can actually work together. That is why we want to think strategically about how Bethany Missionary Baptist Church can be poised for the future – to continue making a lasting impact for the sake of the gospel here in our city and to continue building a rich legacy for decades to come. The work of God always brings about renewal, and we hope to see His renewing work imprinted deep in us. Unity In Christ Ephesians 4:2-6 Join Rev. Albert K. Haynes Sr. along with the Bethany congregation as we lift up the name of Jesus, while we celebrate our church’s Anniversary. Don’t miss out on this powerful, impactful, day of praise, worship and an abundant word from the Lord. This Annual Day will be filled with a powerful preaching from one of God’s best and leading minister of the Gospel #bmbc104
