Prayers & Spiritual Bouquet for our New Archbishop
IndyCatholic – Cardinal Tobin will be back to visit and will lead the people of the archdiocese in Vespers, also known as evening prayer, in anticipation of Archbishop Thompson’s installation Mass. The Office of Young Adult and College Campus Ministry will be there to pray for our new shepherd but also with “petals” to gather prayers to create a spiritual bouquet for him. If you are not familiar with a spiritual bouquet it is simply a collection of small cards or “petals” indicating that the sender will undertake certain devotional acts on behalf of another person, as in honor of a special occasion or in memory of someone. Devotional acts can be as simple as a saying an Our Father, praying a rosary or joining vespers. Please join us in praying for Archbishop Thompson! We love to have you with us! If you cannot attend but would like to offer prayers for him, please email your prayer to rkovert@archindy.org and we will add it to the bouquet.

Pippin at Summer Stock Stage
Summer Stock Stage – Join Summer Stock Stage for our second show of the summer, "Pippin!" This landmark musical showcases Bob Fosse's dazzling choreography and classic songs like "Magic to Do" and "Corner of the Sky." The young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day. This is a PG production. Some material may not be suitable for small children. Performances are Thursday, July 27 - Friday, July 29 at 7 PM and Sunday, July 30 at 2 PM. Tickets are available at the link above or at summerstockstage.com.

Show Nuff 2: with David Gborie
Let's Comedy – Show Nuff is back for round 2 with a little help from our friend David Gborie (Conan, and Comedy Central). David Gborie was born on May 5th, 1987, and was raised in the Seattle Metro area where he honed his comedic talents. At an early age, it became apparent that David’s ability to Ball, his Ballaptitude, as it were, would be out of control, and it was then that he knew he would be an incredible baller. David spent his formative years in Colorado, where he was running the 303 ragged, and, in general, fucking all manner of shit up. In early 2010, David moved westward with a dream, a pocketful of jokes, and the sassiest mouth this side of the Mississippi. He now lives in the Bay Area, where you can catch him telling jokes and wrecking faces all around. Show starts at 8pm and is $10. Featuring Cincinnati bad boy Blake Hammond and hosted by Indy's own Luke Basille. Presented by Let's Comedy!

Altered Thurzdaze w/ Muzzy Bearr
The Mousetrap – IndyMojo Presents is proud to bring you your weekly dose of bass fueled mischief.... ~ ALTERED THURZDAZE ~ with special guest... * Muzzy Bearr All Good Records https://soundcloud.com/muzzybearr 23-Year Old Dan Hacker is Muzzy Bearr, the multi-intrumental producer/DJ and vocalist hailing from Detroit, Michigan. First coming onto the scene at 17 as GRiZ’s guitar playing right hand man, the young cub quickly realized his love for crafting soulful hip-hop beats with trill tendencies and live instrumentation. Hacker’s 2015 debut record Vintage Sutra (released on All Good Records) was met with critical acclaim as he proved that he was much more than just a guitarist. Earmilk writes, “This album is a testament to the masterful song writing abilities and musicianship Muzzy possess and showcases his diverse sounds in one well packaged 6-track album.” Following the release of Vintage Sutra, Muzzy Bearr hit the road supporting GRiZ on his near-entirely sold out spring and fall tours, with a stop at Red Rocks in between, all while working towards the full-length follow up. With his tasteful end-of-2015 release, “Call You Up (ft. K.B Starr), a collaboration with fellow Detroiter Ahh-Ooh Hacker yet again proved his versatility while showcasing a more concise sound that Nest HQ called “supernatural”. 2017 holds many expectations musically, as the young star hones in on his first full-length release and a handful of remixes and collaborations sure to deliver the flavor fans have come to expect.
