Mobile Constituent Services Outreach Clinic
Doña Ana County Government Center – The Doña Ana County Community and Constituent Services (CCS) Office has scheduled a Mobile Constituent Services Hour Clinic in Garfield, NM to help residents who need assistance from local, state and federal government agencies. The Garfield Mobile Constituent Services Outreach Clinic will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Garfield Fire Station, 8920 Highway 187. District 5 Doña Ana County Commissioner John Vasquez and staff from U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich's Las Cruces District Office have been invited to attend. “The purpose of the Mobile Constituent Services Hour is to make the county more accessible to constituents, especially those who reside in rural areas,” CCS Manager Liz Reed said. “We realize that in most cases, we won’t be able to solve a problem on the spot, but staff will be able to point constituents toward the right offices and entities who can offer the quickest and most reliable response to whatever issue arises.” For more information about the Mobile Constituent Services Outreach Clinics, contact the Doña Ana County Community and Constituent Services Office at (575) 525-5959.

NMSU Insider (New Mexico State University Auxiliary Services) – The next victory for the NMSU Aggies basketball team will be against Seattle University at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, at the NMSU Pan American Center. Before the game, students are encouraged to create signs to cheer on the Aggies. Free supplies will be available for full-time NMSU students with a valid Aggie ID from 3-5 p.m. on game day. These 1910-1914 hats, from the end of the Belle Epoch (or Beautiful Age) of fashion, are visual representations of the optimism and economic prosperity found during the apex of the colonial empires.
