EGA Summer Camp Week 6
Elite Gymnastics Academy – Week 6 Theme: ON THE BEACH EGA's active camps led by our USA Gymnastics Safety Certified Instructors are filled with active fun, games, crafts, quality gymnastics instruction, Open Gym time, pool time, and many fun surprises all in our state-of-the-art, 26,000-square-foot, air-conditioned gymnastics facility! Boys & Girls ages 4 & up are welcome! Sibling discounts apply. Pizza lunch served on FRIDAYS! (Please bring a healthy bag lunch Monday - Thursday.) Recs Quest - Summer 2017 Part 3
Prior Lake City Government – Recs Quest Part 3 of 3, weeks 5 and 6. The Prior Lake Recreation Department’s mascot Recs has waddled away from City Hall and is on the loose! We need your help finding him. Here’s what we need you to do: 1. Click "going" to this event, each time we post a new clue you will get a notification on Facebook. Clues will be posted M -Th each week. 2. Follow the clues to find Recs, take a photo with him and email it in before noon each Friday to email@example.com. Recs will return from his hiding spot Fridays before 9 a.m. 3. Each submission will be put into a raffle, one winner will be chosen that Friday for a prize. Create Glass Mosaics in The Studio
Minnesota Children's Museum – Snip, arrange, glue and grout! Teaching artist Lisa Arnold makes glass mosaics seem easy. Next week in The Studio in the Target Gallery, children ages 5 and up plus their adult are invited to collaborate on a glass mosaic that will be installed in the exhibit later this summer. Dates: July 11-15, July 18-21 and July 24-28 Hours: 10 a.m. to noon, 1 to 4 or 5 p.m., depending on the day Who: Kids 5 and up and their adult Tickets: Available in the box office on the day of the session Cost: Free with museum admission NOTE: The Studio will not be open for regular making activities during this special program.

Canvas Health Golf Classic
Canvas Health – Hit the greens for a great cause! Registration includes lunch, cart, 18 holes of golf, contests, silent auction, dinner, and a great cause! Registration: 10:30 a.m. Shotgun start (scramble): 12:00 p.m. Dinner: 5:30 p.m. Proceeds support individuals in our community who struggle with mental illness, chemical health, and abuse. Funds also benefit Minnesota’s suicide prevention phone and text lines.

Crow Hassan Bumble Bee Survey
University of MN Bee Squad – Meet at the gravel parking lot at 12595 Park Drive, Hanover, MN 55374. We will be moving long distances to get to good survey areas. Park staff will have some space to ride in their trucks. Since 2007, the Minnesota Bumble Bee Survey has worked to document long-term trends in bumble bee populations and monitor declining species in the Twin Cities Area. Volunteers are always needed to help capture bumble bees while they forage on flowers. These bees are identified by experts, marked, and released. Except where noted, there is no need to register. Just show up! Before you head out for the survey, please check in with us for the latest updates as surveys can be cancelled due to poor weather. Rain dates will only take place I still need to count more bees at that site.

Your Words Stamping Class
Minnesota Makers – Do you have a word that defines you or that you are drawn to? Stamped necklaces and bracelets are quite popular and we want to help you make your own! In our class, you will have the opportunity to stamp a circle with your word(s) on them. You can create up to three bracelets and/or necklaces--keep some for yourself and give others away as gifts! Western Dressage NAWD – Be a mouse in the corner as NAWD Judges discuss the Free Walk 5 NAWD Judges will score 7 free walks. Attendees will receive a link to the videos and a conference call number prior to the seminar so that they can watch and listen in as Donna Snyder Smith leads the group through their comparison. NAWD is an advocate for transparency in our judging process and believes that riders should understand the reasons behind the scores. Your $5 donation supports our educational programs.

Star of the North Concert Band - Concert in the Park
Centennial Lakes Park – The Star of the North Concert Band is a non-profit, charitable organization of over fifty musicians from the Minneapolis and St. Paul communities in Minnesota. The group was organized in 1994 to contribute to Minnesota’s musical tradition by providing an opportunity for local accomplished musicians to share their talents, develop their abilities, and make contacts with other performing musicians (locally, nationally, and internationally) via rehearsals, concerts, and tours. Star of the North Concert Band will be playing at the Centennial Lakes Maetzold Amphitheater. Popcorn and soda available for purchase at our concessions stand!
