Matt Giordano "Theyogimatt" at Phoenix Yoga Seymour
Phoenix Yoga – Therapeutically Advancing Your Practice *REGISTRATION REQUIRED* Advanced, but all levels? How? Moving forward and practicing more advanced postures is gratifying and fun, but our ambitions to go deeper into asana can also become injurious. In this workshop, we learn how to have your cake and eat it too—heal, keep your body healthy, and advance your practice. With proper biomechanics, we open energy lines in the body that promote healing–not destruction. Specific actions in our practice help the body feel safe and relax the nervous system, allowing muscles to release and giving us the power to dive deep into poses with ease. Keep your practice fun, advanced and therapeutic. This is appropriate for students of all levels, looking to find new depth in their practice. (all levels)

Yarn on StageOne
Fairfield Theatre Company – Yarn SAT 11/8 • on StageOne Purveyors of some of the most reverent country-folk story songs, Yarn straddles Americana and alt-country, with a dash of jamband. This GRAMMY-nominated band crafts seamless, flowing tunes that feel unfettered by time or trends. "Coming at you with a fresh take on an old-school tradition, this band is often lumped in with Cornmeal and Railroad Earth, but is much more in the 'Grateful Dead and Widespread Panic' tradition than rooted solely in jamgrass." - Glide Magazine "Comparisons are inevitable -- Pure Prairie League, Dan Fogelberg, hints of Poco and the Flying Burrito Brothers -- but Yarn’s mastery of the country-rock idiom is indisputable." - No Depression

Some call this the Actor's nightmare, others call it Improvisational Theatre. This show is a creation of the collective lunatic unconscious of both actors and audience. They’ve done their part; they haven't prepared a thing. It's now time for you to do your part. Just sit back, relax and get ready to call out whatever is on your mind...a word...a phrase...an idea. Audience, start your engines!
