Malign Portents: Path to Glory
Games Workshop: Tacoma Place – This will be the first round in our store's Path to Glory campaign. Games must take place in store and be completed by close of business Wednesday night. We will be using the warband construction rules found in the Path to Glory book*, with the exception that every play may field their corresponding Harbringer for FREE! We will be using the Realm of Battle: Shyish rules as well as the Malign Portent rules for all battles. These can be found on pages 48-56 of the Malign Portents campaign book. Participation will add followers to your warband and qualify points towards the Dread Solstice global campaign! Inquire in store or via messenger for further information. *If you are using battletomes Maggontkin, Legions of Nagash or an updated warband from the General's Handbook simply tell Steve or Tony at the end of your first game before rolling for advancement.

Dread Solstice Global Campaign Week 2
Games Workshop: Tacoma Place – From February the 15th, for six weeks, Games Workshop, Warhammer, and Independent stores across the world will allow you to take part in this campaign. Dread Solstice is a new kind of narrative campaign. Rather than fighting for your allegiance, you’ll be fighting to influence the future in a developing narrative. Starting with the first week, the story may progress down one of three paths – by winning battles and painting new warscrolls of units, you’ll be able to pick which path you want to follow. Your choices will reverberate across the rest of the campaign – perhaps one week you’ll opt to fortify, only to come under siege later, or a failure to recover an artefact in one instance could have dire consequences later. This won’t just be represented by the story but by rules for you to use in the games as the inhabitants of Mortal Realms react to the invaders in their midst… You can register your wins for your chosen option each week at your local participating store, and you’ll be able to contribute points from games you’ve played at home, too. All points must be reported in store. 1 point per victory in battle 1 point per newly painted warscroll The deadline for results each week is 7:00 PM Wednesday night – we’ll then collect your results and adjust the campaign to recognize the choices you’ve collectively made. After this, a new set of paths will appear, based on your previous decisions. More information is available at: https://malignportents.com/dreadsolstice/

An Evening with Corey Harper
ASUPS - Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound – Enjoy an evening of live music with Americana/ Alt-country artist, Corey Harper! Corey Harper’s blend of acoustic Folk/Americana, Country and Blues pays homage and builds upon the storied singer/songwriters of past and present. As a guitar player, and songwriter, Harper crafted his sound from growing up around 60s/70s rock and soul music, as well as drawing inspiration from newer artists such as John Mayer and Ben Howard. Harper’s debut EP “On The Run” ambitiously showcases his lyricism, and melodic guitar playing that has caught the attention of many. The performance will take place in the Piano Lounge, outside of Diversions Cafe! Don't miss out! This free performance is brought to you by LYFT and ASUPS!

ASUPS Campus Films: Kicks
ASUPS - Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound – Fifteen-year-old Brandon longs for a pair of the freshest sneakers that money can buy, assuming that merely having them on his feet will help him escape the reality of being poor, neglected by the opposite sex and picked on by everyone - even his best friends. Working hard to get them, he soon finds that the titular shoes have instead made him a target after they are promptly snatched by Flaco, a local hood. Brandon goes on a mission to retrieve his stolen sneakers. "Tipping, who also co-wrote the polished script, captures this unique mix of adolescent anxiety, urban decay and societal friction in a remarkably confident fashion." - Barry Hertz, Globe and Mail "What Tipping masters perfectly in the film is the constant ebb and flow of humor, and darkness, that runs through the narrative that is inner city boyhood." - Aramide Tinubu, Shadow and Act "A dangerous quest for a stolen pair of shoes becomes an odyssey through ravaged California minority neighborhoods where drugs are omnipresent and violence is never far away. It is a tale of lost innocence, absent fathers and rites of passage." - Robert Roten, Laramie Movie Scope Watch a trailer here: https://goo.gl/DaaMVy

ASUPS Campus Films: The Florida Project
ASUPS - Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound – There will be a double feature of Tangerine (the first feature from Baker, director of The Florida Project) at 6 pm and then The Florida Project on Friday at 9 pm. It will then be The Florida Project throughout the weekend. "It doesn't just show what its characters go through, it observes. It notices. It studies. This is a film that pays attention to the little details that communicate huge feelings." - Colin Covert, Minneapolis Star Tribune "You feel as if you've slipped inside of Moonee's enchanted world, while at the same time seeing the harsh reality of Halley's. That contrast is devastating, right up to a final sequence that's sure to break your heart in two." - Moira MacDonald, Seattle Times "Compassionately told through the eyes of a child, [the film] is a captivating observational drama filled with moments of incredible sadness, wide-eyed innocence and pure joy." - Kiko Martinez, San Antonio Current Watch a trailer here: https://goo.gl/NrfHC8

Black Library Celebration
Games Workshop: Tacoma Place – On Saturday 24th February, will be holding a celebration of all things Black Library! The event will be in part a celebration of 20 years of fantastic adrenaline-fuelled fiction from the worlds of Warhammer, and in part because the brand new Inquisitor Eisenhorn novel, The Magos is released on that day. And stores will have a host of special merchandise to commemorate both of these things. First, very excitingly, will be an exclusive resin Citadel miniature of Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn himself. This model is based on the classic Clint Langley artwork depicting the Inquisitor in his younger days, and is a perfect collector’s piece… and also a great addition to any army of the Imperium, as he will include rules in the box! Yes, you’ll be able to use Inquisitor Eisenhorn to bring ruin to your foes on the tabletop. Pick him up from the 24th in-store. But what about goods celebrating Black Library’s anniversary? There will be plenty, but we don’t want to give everything away just now. Stay tuned for more information as we get closer...
