5-Day Feng Shui Training - Los Angeles
Feng Shui by Jen – As we start out with the Dog Year 2018, we are offering the 5-Day Feng Shui Practitioners Training Program in Los Angeles for the very first time! The intensive program is for five full days. Students will be in class during the first four learning and reviewing many topics ranging from the origin, history and background, various schools and styles of Feng Shui, as well as debunking and clarifying popular western myths. Most importantly, the school places high emphasis on Flying Star Feng Shui, which is considered the most practical and dynamic technique in Classical Feng Shui. Of course, the program will also cover Forms Feng Shui as well as how to operate and care for your Luo Pan. Students are encouraged to purchase the Raymond Lo Combined San Yuen San He Luo Pan (Feng Shui Compass). On the final day, we will take the class outside and practice performing a “real” Feng Shui exercise on a residential and commercial space, giving students an opportunity to piece all the steps together while being carefully guided by me. Consistent with Master Lo’s style of teaching, we will be sharing a plethora of examples and real-life case studies that were performed and executed by Master Lo himself and projects conducted by me. Because I tend to keep the classes smaller, the intimate setting allows for the group to have many chances to practice and perform exercises individually and as a team, which are vital to students building their confidence and skills in performing a comprehensive Feng Shui assessment. And we never compromise, take short cuts, or fall short on placing high emphasis and integrity on executing all client projects with diligence, care, and responsibility. As his USA Representative, it is my goal to help build a community of students and practitioners in the U.S. that value and honor the true knowledge of Feng Shui under the teaching and direction of Grand Master Raymond Lo. If you have ever been curious about Feng Shui, are currently searching for a proper school, or are on the fence about learning it formally, look no further and join the Raymond Lo School of Feng Shui & Destiny in the U.S. We welcome all levels and students from all walks of life. Learning this knowledge will not only complement your existing profession — whether you’re an architect, an interior designer, or a real estate agent — no doubt this knowledge will also greatly benefit your personal life and make a difference! School: Raymond Lo School of Feng Shui & Destiny - USA Instructor: IFSA Accredited Feng Shui Master Jen Stone Venue: TBD Tuition: $1,600 (early bird discount good through Dec. 31, 2017) Dates: Mar. 21-25, 2018 This school is endorsed by the International Feng Shui Association.

The Lunch Club: A Journey Through Poland with Rich Kasper
Hillel Jewish Student Center at ASU – This week, we're joined by Rich Kasper, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix. Rich will discuss the unique opportunity he had last summer to travel to Poland as a guest of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles. His visit included meetings with many Jewish scholars and leaders, including Michael Schudrich, chief rabbi of Poland. Additional stops included several synagogues, Auschwitz, the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, and the now famous Warsaw Zoo and the Zabinski Villa, where zookeeper Jan Zabinski and his wife, Antonina, saved 300 Jews during the Holocaust. Before joining the JCF in 2013, Kasper was a partner with Ryan Rapp & Underwood PLC, where he provided legal counsel for many secular and Jewish nonprofit organizations, individuals, and publicly traded or closely held companies. Before Ryan Rapp & Underwood PLC, Rich worked as the Arizona Regional Director for the Anti-Defamation League, Vice President of Professional Services at the Arizona Community Foundation, and as an attorney at Fennemore Craig, P.C. Rich’s extensive service to the Jewish community includes his participation in the Wexner Heritage Program, an exclusive, two year intensive adult education program for Jewish volunteer leaders. Before joining the professional staff of the Foundation, Rich served on the boards of the Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Community Association. Rich has also served on the Foundation’s Professional Advisory and Grants committees. A graduate of Oberlin College with a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish, Rich earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California.
