Everett School Opening!
Everett – Everett School will be opening September 25, 2017. Unfortunately, we will not be able to run any Ballet classes this Session. Ms. Grace has started her new job as a nurse and she is hoping to continue teaching Ballet at Everett starting the second Session, which will begin January 8, 2018. During this time we would like to introduce our ballet students to some Beginner Hip Hop dancing with our two amazing teachers, Jemmarie Dupuis and Laisha Crum. They will be teaching class Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-6pm, aswell as a Saturday class from 1-2pm. Students are not required to take all three classes but you are welcome to if you would like to. If you have not met our teachers, please come try out your first class free of charge (Our policy is always that no one is turned away for lack of funds.) Robyn will be in the office from 9am - 1pm, Monday through Friday and if you are not able to speak with someone please leave a message and we will get back to you asap.

JWU Providence BRIDGE CENTER – Guided Meditation – Take a few quiet moments each week to recharge and refocus. Join us every Monday 4-4:30pm in McNulty Residential Hall’s 3rd Floor TV Lounge and every Tuesday 4-4:30pm in the Culinary Beginnings Room located inside the Culinary Arts Museum on the Harborside Campus for a mindfulness exercise. Guided Meditation is co-sponsored and facilitated by staff from Counseling Services, Health Education, The BRIDGE, and the JWU Providence Library.

Getting to Know Mandalas
Barrington Public Library – What are mandalas? What do they mean? What is the significance of the circle? In this class we will learn the basics of mandalas and will be creating one of our own! All supplies will be provided This is the first of three workshops on mandalas at the library this fall, led by Candace Nadine Breen. Candace is a resident of Barrington, Rhode Island where she lives with her husband and their two young children. She finds mandalas can lead to self-discovery and are a form of meditation.
