January Wine Walk
Reno Riverwalk District – THE ORIGINAL AND STILL THE BEST! This January the Riverwalk District will take center stage during the Reno Wine Walk, on Saturday, January 20, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., providing the perfect occasion to show your appreciation for community, arts of all kind and of course wine. Each month portions of the proceeds from the Reno Wine Walk benefit local charitable organizations. In over five years the event organizers have donated more than $100,000 to local non-profits. The popular Reno Wine Walk is a monthly event held on the third Saturday where you purchase a decorative wine glass for a $20 wine-tasting fee. With wine glass in hand and a valid photo ID, you’ll receive an ID bracelet, which allows you to sample wine at any of the twenty-plus participating merchant locations. Many of the businesses hand paint each individual wine glass, which attendees get to take home. At the end of the event, attendees enter to win over $700 in gift cards from all the participating merchants during a 5 p.m. raffle. The Riverwalk District encourages safe and sober driving by also partnering with Uber to help bring safe rides to the Riverwalk District from the event for attendees over the age of 21. As a gift to attendees, they can enjoy a FREE UBER RIDE for new UBER app users. Simply use the code RIVERWALK16 to redeem the special discount and enjoy a safe weekend on the road. To find out more information about the monthly Reno Wine Walk or how to participate, visit www.RenoRiver.org or call 775- 322-7373. ###

First and Last: Devotional For Hestia
Reno Magick – House of Zephyrus Hellenic Temple Ritual Join us for a devotional ritual honoring Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth and Home. Hestia is present at the center of every home, watching over and protecting both major turning points in life and the everyday joys and cares of home and family. In ancient times, She was manifested in the central hearth of a household, a temple, or a city. Today, we dedicate lamps, votive holders, fireplaces, and candles to Her to thank Her for Her blessings. If you have a candle or candle holder for Hestia already, please bring it along! If not, please bring a candle holder or lamp. If you would like us to pick up a candle holder for you, just let us know in the comments and bring $5 to the ritual to cover costs. Hestia doesn't need expensive offerings, just sincere ones :) As always, there is no charge to attend ritual. However, donations to support the Temple are always appreciated, as are food and drink (especially wine!) to share.
