Panoramas of the City Discovery Tour
Missouri History Museum – In the early 20th century, photographers took amazing panoramic photos of St. Louis, revealing details that would otherwise have been forgotten. On this tour you’ll start in the Museum’s Panoramas of the City exhibition, which will feature seven of these stunning panoramas blown up larger than life so you can walk through moments big and small from St. Louis’s past. Then you’ll journey to the places where these iconic images were captured—and get the chance to take your own panoramic photo of St. Louis in the process. Watercolor Workshop with Dongfeng Li
St. Louis Artists' Guild – Dongfeng Li has a Master of Fine Art in painting and drawing and a Master of Art Education. He has taught Chinese painting, drawing, oil painting and watercolor for more than 15 years and conducts many painting workshops nationally and internationally. He is an art professor at Morehead State University, Kentucky where he teaches painting, drawing, and design. Dongfeng Li, will instruct and demonstrate watercolor techniques to further your skills in a fun and interesting workshop. In this class, you will develop color skills by matching colors and using basic color theory. We will also discuss the skills of painting form and shape to render facial features and physical likeness. In the workshop, we will paint directly from life as well as from photos. Students will learn the brush and wash techniques and experiment with paint on Yupo paper. Wateroclor is the most amazing medium!

Storytime in the Commons: Splash and Bubbles
Nine Network – Our free storytime series returns this summer in the Public Media Commons, the plaza just outside of the Nine Network. Please bring blankets or chairs for seating. The September event features Splash and Bubbles. The PBS KIDS® character will be available for photos and stories will be read and shared on the big outdoor screen. We’ll have crafts, games, and other family activities. The event is free, but registration is required. All guests, regardless of age, need a ticket to enter the event. Trailnet – This ride is for women only, and is intended for those who are new to road riding in general and especially those who are new to riding with traffic. It is a no-drop ride, so no one will end up riding alone! Hub friend, and local road rider Sandi Barrett will lead the group and will focus on fun and learning as the miles fly by! The women’s ride is intended for road bikes, so hybrid and off-road bike riders may find their wider tires make it hard to keep up the pace of the group.
