Street Yoga - Studio of the Month
Street Yoga – We are proud to be serving as the Street Yoga Studio of the Month this November. As such, we will be donating a portion of our proceeds from all classes held during Thanksgiving week (Nov 20 - 26*) to benefit Street Yoga's programs that provide yoga and mindfulness practices to young people experiencing trauma, adversity and homelessness. Woodside Elementary PTA – Is your child an artist? Enter our PTA cultural arts competition. The six catagories are: visual arts, photography, literature, film production, dance and music. Entry forms and rules are available in the front office. Students may submit more than one entry. So, be creative! (There must be a seperate entry form for each submission.) Submit entries by Monday November 20th. Our panel of judgets will select qualified entries to progress to the District level, where an exhibition will be held in Everett, in January. King County Democrats – Winter is coming! Here at King County Democrats we know that this can be an especially hard time of year for families that are down on their luck. Help us raise a collection of hats, scarves, coats, socks & long johns (new please), mittens, and sweaters. Bring your gently used and new items to the King County Democrats office in Auburn (office hours are 10am-6pm Monday through Friday), or bring them to our monthly board meeting on Tuesday, November 28 at the Teamsters Hall in Tukwila. from 6-8pm.

Washington Community Action Network! – Live in or near Federal Way / South King County? Join us for a tenant rights training! We will go over your rights as a renter and have broader discussion about the movement for tenant rights. We will also have a lawyer who focuses on tenant defense there to consult with folks and answer questions. We will have some food and childcare! The Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble (Presented by KNKX)
The Royal Room – Doors at 6:30pm The Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble is a 15 piece band featuring Seattle's finest and most innovative improvisers under the direction of composer Wayne Horvitz. The RRCME performs Mr. Horvitz's compositions in a loosely constructed format which uses a combination of on-the-spot (re)arranging and various other techniques, some of which have come to be known as "conduction". Featuring: Beth Fleenor, Kate Olson, Ivan Arteaga, Levi Gillis, Greg Sinibaldi, Al Keith, Sam Boshnack, Ray Larsen, David Marriott, Amelia Coulter, Ryan Burns, Geoff Harper, Eric Eagle, Christian Pincock, Wayne Horvitz and more!
