Illinois Society of Association Executives (ISAE) – WRAPPING UP THE YEAR! Things to know: Wear your best holiday sweater or attire! There will be a prize for the person with the most festive outfit. Think ugly or best holiday sweater! We are asking attendees to donate new items for the Tree of Wishes this year. WISH LIST COMING SOON! We will wrap presents during the networking time 11 am to 12 pm. ISAE President, Jerry Crabtree and ISAE Executive Director, Amy Cheatham will "wrap up the year" with their end of the year reports. Downtown Springfield, Inc. – Positively Crafty is a chance for people of all crafting levels to get together to work on a craft that your Crafty Librarians have come up with each month! We can’t promise perfect crafting results, but we can promise a fun time! This session, we will be doing plastic-bag printmaking! Joe Asselin plays Blue Monday
Illinois Central Blues Club – The Blues Trio features Joe Asselin with Kris Hyden on Bass and Martin Mooney on Drums. Joe is formerly with the Kilborn Alley Blues Band playing Harmonica as well as Songwriting Collaborator and was the guitarist with The Sugar Prophets. Joe now plays with William Marsala and The 24 String Machine.

Movie Night - ELF
Hoogland Center for the Arts – The Holiday Season at the Hoogland will kick off on Saturday, November 25 at 7 p.m. with a showing of the movie ELF. This classic Christmas comedy stars Will Ferrell and will be shown on the big screen in the LRS Theatre at the Hoogland. This showing of ELF corresponds with the first Old Capitol Holiday Walk of the season. Synopsis: Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results. Doors will open at 6:30pm for the 7:00pm showing. Tickets are $8 (General Admission) and snacks will be available at the bar.
