Deep Rest w/Betsy Kramer
Unity of Stockton – Begin the New Year with the nourishing practice of Deep Rest. Ongoing Saturday afternoon series will focus on practicing simple and effective strategies to establish a supportive deep rest daily habit. What is it? What blocks us from our inherent ability to cultivate deep rest in our life so that the body can heal itself? The body is designed to heal. Deep rest is a primary method through which the body is able to balance, restore, reconnect, and heal. It's reclaiming the innate ability to restore & heal. This is not something new. Not something outside of the self, not outside the body. We become disconnected from it. It's nothing unique. It's just that we've lost connection. So, it's reconnecting, restoring, reclaiming our innate ability. How do we reclaim it? What gets in our way? This is no special talent that some people have and some people don't. This is literally the design of the body. Learn about the brain, and about surrender. Please RSVP to insure there are enough handouts and materials for everyone. Email Betsy at email@example.com to RSVP and for any questions or clarification. Sliding scale donation $10-25.
