Electronics Maker Bootcamp
LASER -TEC – Design & build electronics systems at this summer camp! Ages 13-17 Indian River State College, Fort Pierce, FL July 31 - August 4, 2017 Monday thru Thursday 9AM - 4PM Friday 9AM - 12:30PM Cost is $225 REGISTER: Explore: The world of electronic circuitry and how different components alter the way it behaves. Build: Prototype circuits on a breadboard and apply it to a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Learn: The art of soldering utilizing equipment used by professionals. Alzheimer’s Fundraiser
Technical Center for Career & Adult Education – The Technical Center for Career and Adult Education Practical Nursing Program will be supporting the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Please support our fundraising efforts at Chipotle Mexican Grill on August 16, 2017, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Present flyer when you order and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Organization. The Walk is on September 9, 2017, at Humiston Park. Your donations through Chipotle Mexican Grill will be donated on behalf of the Technical Center for Career and Adult Education on the day of the event.

School Advisory Council Open Meeting & Membership Recruitment
St. Anastasia Catholic School – The St. Anastasia Catholic School Advisory Council is looking for new members. They will host an Open Meeting and Membership Recruitment session on Friday, August 18 at 7:45 a.m. in M211 of the Media Center. Join the current members of the SAC and meet new parents for coffee and a light breakfast! St. Anastasia School Advisory Council is an advisory organization under the auspices of the Diocese of Palm Beach and the Parish of St. Anastasia. This group meets with the Pastor and Principal on the first Friday of each month at 7:45 a.m. in the Media Center. Representation from all parishes of the county, as well as the non-Catholic sector, are evident on the Council. All parents are invited to attend. 2017 PTO Back to School Baseball Bash
St. Anastasia Catholic School – Join the PTO and your friends at the 3rd annual PTO Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 19th at 6:30 p.m. at First Data Field. Enjoy baseball, contests and fireworks as we kick off the 2017-18 school year. Sponsorships are available for $300. Sponsors receive 50 tickets to the game, recognition at the game and on our website and a free table display! The student who sells the most tickets gets to throw out the first pitch! Each student who sells two tickets gets a free Jersey Day and each student who sells 5 tickets gets a free Mets souvenir. The Class that sells the most tickets wins a pizza party with Klutch! 32nd Annual Muster and Music Festival
Central Florida Composite Squadron-259 – This exciting outdoor venue is open to the public and free of charge. We welcome all ages to come out and enjoy this fun and family-friendly tradition. The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is built on the original training grounds of the first Frogmen. Enjoy a scenic sunrise run or walk along the same beaches of the predecessors of today’s Navy SEALs. At 11:00 AM, the fun continues with the Naval Parachute Team of Special Operations members, the Leap Frogs, dropping into Pepper Park by air. Be inspired by special guest speakers, experience live Navy SEAL tactical demonstrations, and be amazed by EAL K9 deployments. Meet U.S. Navy SEALs and experience their gear and vehicles up close. Enjoy live music, various food trucks, and a variety of beverages at the Navy SEAL Museum from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
