Summer Camp at the Dr Pepper Museum
Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute – Summer Camp at the Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute is the most POP-ular camp in town! This five-day camp is bubbling over with hands-on experiments, team activities and, of course, Dr Pepper! Camps are Monday through Friday with full and half day options. Half-day camps will run from 12:30 PM - 5 PM, and full day camp will run from 9 AM to 5 PM. Please note that the half day camp is not a separate camp, but instead the afternoon portion of the full day camp. Camp weeks are specialized for different age groups: June 19th through 23rd is geared towards 8 - 10 year olds July 10th through 14th is 10 - 12 year olds August 7th through 11th is 8 - 12 year olds The cost for camp is $75 for half-day and $125 for full day per child. Aloha from Hawaii: The Concert Replay
Waco Hippodrome – Al Joslin as Elvis backed by the nations #1 tribute band SPINOUT. Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite is a concert that was headlined by Elvis Presley, and was broadcast live via satellite on January 14, 1973. The concert took place at the Honolulu International Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and aired in over 40 countries across Asia and Europe. There were between 1 and 1.5 billion viewers worldwide. The show was the most expensive entertainment special at the time, costing $2.5 million. Come watch the reenactment! Join us for a tribute show on August 26.

Nature School for Homeschoolers
Children's Garden and Outdoor Classroom – .Nature School for homeschoolers Thursdays 10:30-1:30pm 5 weeks Aug 31-Sept 28 Forest explores: 10:30-11:30 We will explore local ecology through place based education. We will be be going on short hikes each week at the local park. We explore different themes including, safety, different animals and insects, trees, edibles and poisonous plants, habitats, map reading, fire building and safety, earth care, identifying tracks and more. Each child will be putting together their own binder of everything we learn about so they can identify animals and plants after class is over.. Lunch: 11:30-12:30, Bring a healthy sack lunch Gardening 12:30-1:30 Community Gardening Class: We will explore gardening and back yard farming. This semester we will learn about poultry care, planting, growing, harvesting garden veggies and seed saving. We will prepare snacks with garden fresh veggies, read stories, journal, and play. Families are invited to adopt their own plot to plant, care for and harvest from. (geared toward school age children but younger family members are welcome) $65 per child (sibling discounts -$15per sibling child) We will be doing an optional fundraiser which can apply towards registration fees.Fees includes all supplies. There is a limited amount of space in each class. If you have questions or would like to sign up send a message with your child's age and the class you would like to sign up for.
