Chin Motorsports - Full Track
Pittsburgh International Race Complex – We are a leading provider of non-competition track events for sports car enthusiasts. When you acquired a sports car, did you notice that advanced driving skills were not included? We provide advanced driver coaching for you to acquire those skills. With Chin Track Days, enthusiasts can enjoy their cars and receive driver education at some of the legendary road courses in the USA. Venues like Sebring, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, VIR, and more. Our emphasis is on FUN and skill training, not racing. In our non-competition events, the gentleman and lady sports car driver can practice and learn new advanced driving techniques. Entry level drivers recieve high-quality instruction on high-performance driving skills. If you are already an experienced track driver, you may be exempt from instruction, and enjoy generous, high-quality track time. All training and driving is done in a low-stress, non-competition environment. There is no racing, time-trials, or contests at Chin Track Days events. Events are defined as driver's education activities, and are governed accordingly. We welcome ALL enthusiasts; there is no limitation to a particular marque of car. SAFETY is the #1 priority. Emphasis on lower enrollment, fewer run groups, and more track time. Founded in 1999, first event at Sebring International Raceway. Since then, we have received over 55,000 driver entries for more than 650 track events. Events are fully staffed with qualified instructors, corner workers, and safety teams. Almost any modern street car with OEM equipment can be used. Fully-prepared competition cars are also welcome. Minimum requirements: a good attitude, a safe car in excellent condition, and a SNELL approved helmet. Chin Motorsports visits more great tracks and has more events than any other club in the USA. BMW Street Survival
Pittsburgh International Race Complex – The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too. Three parents, including Scott Goodyear, former Indy Car Champion, share their perspectives in this video. It's about more than driving - it's about LIVING! All Schools $75. See our FAQ page at: www.streetsurvival.org/frequently-asked-questions.php Any questions after reviewing the FAQ page call Bill Wade, National Program Manager, @ 864-438-2060 (8 am - 8 pm EST) Register Here: https://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/register.trss/uidEvent/9BD2C5ED-95AC-9D8C-C89A283C0F81050D

Auditions for "Another Christmas Carol"
Kent Trumbull Theatre/Summer Stock – Plans are in place for Kent Trumbull Theatre’s third joint Deaf/hearing play production. Deaf and hearing, signers and speakers, are encouraged to try out. The intended audience is both hearing and Deaf: those who are signing-impaired will be able to follow the play through the speakers’ performance and those who are hearing-impaired will be able to follow the play through the signers’ performance. Everyone will have a voice, be it signed or spoken. Visual space (the stage) will primarily belong to the signers, while audio space will primarily belong to the speakers. The speakers will be performing something akin to a radio play (on one part of the stage, with microphones on stands and a table of sound props for special effects), while the signers will be performing in American Sign Language on the rest of the stage. In addition to performing the play’s lines, speakers will provide additional sound effects (with their throats and mouths, but also with various types of instruments and other tools), and signers will provide additional visual effects (such as with led-gloves and flags or streamers, but also with dance and pantomime). Children from ages 4 to 94 are encouraged to tryout!
